Apprentice Estimator, Customer Service Apprentice
Purpose of the role:
To provide support to the Lead Estimator, Key Account Managers and internal staff
Duties (in order of priority) would include:
- Estimating Writing quotes
- Providing Technical Support internally and externally
- Helping to develop and maintain pricing systems
- Supporting Key account managers
- Filtering incoming telephone calls
Working week 0900 - 1730 Total hours per week: 37.50 Weekly wage £210.00
Expected apprenticeship duration 13 months
Possible start date 18 Dec 2017
- Numerate to GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 and above
- Technical skills
- Problem solving skills
- IT skills including Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel
- Good attention to detail

English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent level) Future prospects Screen Solutions 100% shareholding was recently purchased by a Danish Company, Gabriel AS. We have recently changed our Sales and Design strategy and are currently going through a lot of change with exciting times ahead. A position such as Junior Estimator could lead to a Key Account Manager’s role in the long run.
Things to consider
Undergoing a comprehensive induction in the production of screens which will involve being “practical and dexterious” in our factory.
