An internship (placement or work placements) is an opportunity offered by an employer to potential employees, to work at a firm for a fixed, limited period of time, which usually includes an element of training.

For graduates this gives you the chance to enhance your employability, career prospects and the possibility of a staying on for a permanent job role.

For employers a graduate intern can bring new skills, fresh ideas and a different perspective into the organisation with the opportunity to develop a graduate’s capabilities within the business.
