If you are aged between 14-19 years and are looking for information, advice and guidance about preparing yourself for the workplace – we are currently working with the local councils and schools to create an online resource with information, advice and guidance on work/job related topics. This will be the go to place for young people on all things employability and will be completed by May 2014. It will be easily accessible in our Advice section of this job board. In the meantime, you might want to check out our Brighton Employability Advice & Careers Hut - BEACH

If you are aged 16-24 years then earning whilst you are learning could be a great opportunity – to find out more you will need to read the information in our Apprenticeships section.

Whatever your age – if you are not in employment, education or training – you may be registered as unemployed and actively seeking work. If this is the case you might be receiving Job Seekers Allowance from the Job Centre, so next time you see your Adviser speak with them about Work Experience and Work Trials
